There is always much to do while staying in Mollymook, Milton, Ulladulla and surrounding areas. The Morton and Budawang National Parks together with numerous other forests virtually edge the sea with a narrow ribbon of undulating pastoral settlements occasionally breaking where the blue of the sea meets the green wilderness. They contain many scenic sites easily accessible to tourists. The local Tourist Information centre has plenty of maps available. Alternatively, there are more leisurely coastal family activities including walks by the lakes where pelicans and other sea birds glide over calm waters. Milton Theatre (temporarily closed) provides live gigs. The coastline offers many secluded and safe beaches with solft white sand, crystal clear water and endless strolls invesgating sandstone sea ledges and fascinating rockpools. All year round dolphins can be seen gently cruising off shore as they make their way up and down the coast. Bird life and wildlife are abundant, Where else in Australia can you see relatively tame kangaroos bounding along the seashort than at Bawley Point, Kioloa and of course famous Pebbly Beach.
There are many wonderful havens and secret places scattered throughout the district including beaches, lakes and rivers favoured by enthusiasts of surfing, snorkelling, sailing, boating, bushwalking, camping and fishing. Keep on the lookout for the whales at Mollymook, Narrawallee and Ulladulla beaches and of course Ulladulla lighthouse from August to November. During the summer months Narrawallee, North Mollymook and Mollymook beaches are patrolled. Of course, it is a beautiful area in which to simply relax and take a stroll on the beach or enjoy fishing, surfing, water skiing, bushwalking, lakes and beaches. There is a saltwater seapool at Ulladulla Harbour for all to enjoy.

Gondwana Coast Fossil Walk

Take the family on a guided walk on Ulladulla Harbour's Rock Platforms and look back in time 270,000,000 years. This is the fifth year the Guided Fossil Walk has operated in the beautiful natural heritage environment of the Ulladulla Harbour. It is an exciting and enjoyable activity for both visitors and locals from 5 to 80yrs +. Each walk takes about 2 hours and begins with a hands on briefing session on the grass area near the water's edge on Fisherman's Wharf. Guides then lead you on a 500m guided stroll across the rock platfomrs. The Fossill walk is a not-for-profit association of more than 20 local enthusiastic volunteers.
